Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup cooled Urban Calm Centered mushroom coffee
- 1/3 cup milk or unsweetened plant milk
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt, optional for a thicker texture
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp chia seeds, optional
- Pinch cinnamon
- Berries, banana or chopped nuts for serving
How to make it
- Stir oats, cooled coffee, milk, yogurt, maple, vanilla, chia and cinnamon together in a jar.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Stir in the morning.
- Add a splash of milk if the oats are thicker than you like.
- Top with fruit or nuts.
Do not pour hot coffee straight into the jar
Cool the coffee first. Overnight oats are meant to stay refrigerated, and starting with chilled ingredients keeps the process simple.
Make it mocha
Add 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder and a little extra maple if needed.
Make it more coffee-forward
Replace a little more of the milk with coffee, but keep enough milk or yogurt for a creamy texture.
